I didn't have a happy childhood. It was filled with a lot of darkness and violence. A lot of abuse and not a lot of love. Very backward.

There is a lot of baggage I carry around with me every day because of my upbringing. It still handicapps me in many ways but slowly God is healing my past. He is using things in the present to comfort me.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Christmas lately and I am in awe of how God Himself would come down as a humble baby to ultimately sacrifice Himself for sinners. That a sinless being would put Himself on the line for a filthy rag.

Most think this ludacris, ya right - like that even happened. As if they know all there is to know about God without even trying to get to know Him at all. Our finite minds can’t even begin to wrap around His greatness.
