Thursday, December 09, 2010, 6:11 a.m. – I woke up about 30 minutes ago with a throbbing headache. I think I stayed up too late last night. As I lay in bed praying that the Lord would heal me of this headache, I was thinking about this subject of joking and teasing. Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. I read Luke 5, the rest of the chapter, and the first section of Luke 6. This verse stood out to me:

Thursday, December 2, 2010, 7:55 a.m. – I got up this morning and came out to the living room to have my quiet time with the Lord. When I got out here, the song, “It is Well With my Soul” was playing on my husband’s computer. Just now, as I am sitting down to type up what the Lord is teaching me this morning from his word, this song is playing on my husband’s computer:

Wednesday, December 01, 2010, 10:01 p.m. – I was lying in bed thinking about my day when the song, “Praise Him! Praise Him!” started playing in my mind. At first I didn’t really pay attention to the song. I was still thinking about the events of my day. Then, all of a sudden the song got a little bit louder in my head and I realized that it was playing in my mind, so I began to pay close attention to it and to the message contained within it.
