I LOVE WORDS.
I think it is so cool that Jesus is called THE WORD of God, in John’s gospel.
I read in a book that the Spanish translation of THE WORD is EL VERBO.
We know verbs in our language imply action and Jesus is the active Word of God sent to show us who God is and what God is like. This is our Jesus our saviour.
Our words can have so much power over others, words of love or words that condemn can affect others for generations.
Lord may I bless with my words...

I posted this in the Charismatic Forum and decided I wanted to put it here as well. It is concerning the evangelist Todd Bentley and what has transpired in the last 3 weeks. Just for the record I am not a Todd supporter but have not been a basher either. I have tried to keep an open heart and mind as guided by the Holy Spirit to all that was happening in Lakeland not just Todd's performances.

Listening to God July 14, 2008
A few weeks ago I felt God speaking to me about doing less and listening more. I want to know God’s voice so I have been trying to develop my skills to hear the ‘still small voice’ of the Lord.
