Saturdays I tend to set aside as my Sabbath rest. As wonderful as church can be, having spent the day prior in prayer and refusing to run about like the proverbial chicken sans head really helps me recharge before the week begins anew.

Okay, so it's that time again, and no matter how the die falls America will be in undiscovered grounds, as one barrier or another is removed from how we consider someone fit to lead this country. That's a plus to me, because limiting a whole class of people from consideration is foolish. It is on the individual's merits our choice should be made, not foolish misconceptions on race or sex.

After The Storm

Things were rough, then the hurricane came.

It's been two weeks since Ike tore through here. I have worked like a madman, because the need for security oficers in this area exploded, and I was so frazzled it wasn't funny. I have been totally exhausted and emotionally drained, but it's starting to look up.

There's a good chance many people across the world have heard of Tombstone, Arizona. It has a mythical place in the American Old West mystique, most well-known as the site of the famous Gunfight at the OK Corral (which is a misnomer, but it sounded better than "Gunfight in the alley down from the photo studio").
