With pride!

Something else I forgot to mention about Church yesterday. One thing my husband quickly noticed and made sure to point out to me, was a sigh in the upper left corner at the front of the church. It was attached to a stick, as if someone had carried it (and perhaps most likely did), and the sign had a rainbow flag drawn on it and it read:
"(Chuch's Name) walks with Pride!"
This was referring of course to Gay Pride, and this particular church had voted in favor of blessing same-sex marriages which is fantastic and one of the things that attracted me to them initially in the first place (in fact that is exactly how I ended up on their website one day, following articles on churches that allowed Gay marriage).
I think I knew right then that this was going to be a good place, that was before anyone even spoke to us in the slightest.
