Choices

In one of the later Harry Potter books, Dumbledore says to Harry "the time is coming when we must make the choice between what is right, and what is easy?"
I received 2 rather toxic private messages in the last 2 days, and I debated with the idea of posting them in full on my blog with the identifying details, because I tend to think that people that are gutless enough to spew the venom in private deserve to be shamed in public.
I then decided that these petty revolting people were not worth my effort. I could get bitter and twisted about them or I could choose to let it go, give it to the universe and move on with my life.
I choose the latter, its not an easy decision, but I believe it is the right decision

 | i've found that my way of dealing with these...lets call them douchebags, anyway. my way of dealing with them is to ignore them because there are too many more important things in the world on which to focus my energy. for instance. i would rather tell you that i love you rather than reply to some moron on facebook who isn't interested in trying to understand what i am about. when i'm not feeling quite so noble i have found that using complete sarcasm and idiocy is effective in eventually getting rid of them as well. i applaud you for choosing the former. i don't do so as often as i should. |
