I want to be able to surrender everything to Christ. Just when I think I have done it, or when I think I am doing great, something happens that reminds me once again what a fallen human I am. Without the love of Christ, I would be nothing.

Surrendering is hard in some areas for me. I think one of the hardest is trusting Him. To believe that He can do anything, to believe that He will do what it is that is best. Yet with all my heart I desire to follow Him.

Be near to me in my darkness, as I walk through the valley. Things have been hard lately and I have been doing my best to hang on. I really feel dragged down by spiritual darkness. My conscience is clear in you and in knowing that you are who I server, and yet I can feel the attacks of the darkness of the world. The more I seek you, the harder I am attacked.

So I am sitting here in my car with the heat cranked up and K-Love playing in the background. My car is filled with boxes as I moved into my new place yesterday and I went and got the rest of my stuff from storage during my lunch break today.

I am in front of the local library so that I can use the internet (it seems to be closed, hence why I am in my car); I still don't have internet in my new place (not until next week).
