There's a progression here...
Reminds me of a lot of the old stuff I used to listen to: sound & lyrics. And of course the gal dancing. My fave style of which I tried to reduplicate. Yes, I still wear shoes like that (can't stand gym shoes except for tennis):
( I was in this spot, different problem but I remember looking at some religious people and thinking- I don't fit in with them. Then I realized most then were hypocrites and were doing the same things I was- no different than me other than they wanted to be stuck up about it, but yet still going to church.)
(there is just so much in this. One point being once I was on the side of the killers, like them, they were they ones I houng out with. Then I became transformed to the side of the Rachael Scotts, whom I never thought I could be like. These people are my friends now. I didn't understand, I had it backwards in my thinking. I thought they were trying to be "perfect" so they could be somebody & justify their snobbery, that they thought they were better than others. I didn't realize most who are like that and don't do & do certain things (being religious) that it comes after- not to show off but because they have reasons to believe something is right or wrong)
Thankful for having a "Hero" in my life, who didn't treat me like trash. A little kindness goes a long way.
So I remember...
I hope I follow this pattern...(great biography BTW)
Some years are gone by now (like in the Casting Crowns song,) and who knows what was wasted. Yet God can make up the years and make the best out of whats left. There is still some time left, and still many others in the same boat...
