Posted 31st March 2012 at 11:23 PM by JRSut1000
No matter what we try to do or who we try to be, we in and of ourselves are not enough to 'make it' in the Christian life. I keep coming back to this one simple truth - it's He who completes us. It is HE who started the good work and it is HE who will continue and finish it. The other verse that keeps coming back to me is 'He will perfect all that concerns me'. It always goes back to him, the story always goes back to HIm because He is the creator of my being, the Initiator of this love relationship...

Matthew 7:3-5

Patience
"So be patient, brethren, [as you wait] till the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits expectantly for the precious harvest from the land. [See how] he keeps up his patient [vigil] over it until it receives the early and late rains."
James 5:7

Patience is the hardest thing we have to do. It is never easy to wait, but it is one of the most important things we will ever do. When we start working on a project, it will not be completed or successful...

All I needed to do is remember that there is a light in the darkness of everybody's life, we just need to see it and quit being blind to the hopeful side, sometimes it hurts to think that everything's going to be okay, but when you meet God halfway... anything can happen. hope...
