I was going through some forums and stumbled on a topic on "Conversion". I replied to that topic. I said:

"I've had many ups and
down but don't remember
ever ~not~ believing in

And the fire was gone .. and brittle rock crumbled as i got up and .. there was darkness surrounding . and a faint bright light in the distance .

and these thoughts had come
and they were the thoughts
of another religious order
yet another . once again

so again to begin from scratch with these thoughts and turn the thought premise of fear to faith and then in hope begin to love incontext .

Our God is real righteous true
He lives He loves and cares
Perfect virtuous through and through
The answer to our prayers

Many would make our God as us!
Someone themselves to please
Someone who’d never make a fuss
If no one bends their knees

A god as small as you and I
On whom we can depend
Even until the day we die
He’d just be like a friend

We’d call Him god but nothing more...
