Dear Jesus,

Thank You so very, very much for an incredible Lenten season. I have grown so much in You, more than any other Lenten season. You have really worked in my heart in so many ways. I am learning even more about repentance but also, forgiveness. Forgiving those as you do me.

Lord, I never would have thought here I'd be making amends I have been making. You have softened my heart tremendously even when I felt it already was fine. Forgive me when I am prideful...

The universe gives the illusion of age. Yes it is huge and probably 13.5 or so billion light years in diameter. But according to the order of events in scripture, the universe was created in one day and its light was given and displayed instantly! It seems Easter has become similar to Christmas around our house. We have parties to attend, gifts to buy, new outfits to put together, and the eventful church service to attend. Life if busy, but I love it!
I love that my kids know the true reason we are celebrating Easter. I love that my 10-year-old son is writing a play based on Jesus' death and and resurrection. I love that we are having a get together of close friends from church to celebrate with each other. And most of all,...
