Pakiscam

So, the problem in Pakistan is blasphemy laws. Interesting, if any western country had blasphemy laws, the Koran would be abolished because it's based on blasphemy of Christianity.

The point here is not the religion itself, but that countries should not enact laws that prevent reasonable speech and encourage vigilantes to oppress people.

Ya, persecute the Christian, just like a communist country.

Posted 11th August 2009 at 05:39 AM by JDFU
The sun is shining, hope those clouds don't go anymore grey!

So, my first ever blog post! What to say...what to say...

Oh - borrowed a book yesterday, called God's Politics. Looks interesting, can't wait to get stuck into it!

Got a busy morning ahead, best go read some of the Bible before things kick off!

Hope you all have a lovely day, God Bless xx

A new view

Posted 11th August 2009 at 01:43 AM by plantedbywaters
I feel like God has been speaking to me recently and telling me to take a new view.
develop a different perspective,His perspective. Not dwelling and focusing on the negative in the Church but allowing Him to shift my focus on where love & humilty dwell, within His body and to dwell with these people. They are not big names, pushing their ministry forward, just showing love and respect to others, some have high positions, some not. They are the people God is highlighting to me He will use.shrug...

Day Two

Posted 11th August 2009 at 12:13 AM by yatcup
There was a lot of C.S. Lewis in the world today. A lot of people are obsessed with his writings and his story. It is my personal opinion that he's good for beginners... and for reflection... but once you've emptied that well, its time to move forward.

One interesting comment, today, from the RCC threads:
God has bound salvation to the sacrament of Baptism, but he himself is not bound by his sacraments.
