I feel like I really want to become a christian, but I have a hard time doing so. Most of my family does not necessarily accept Jesus, which discourages me in having faith. I really would like to learn more about the lord Jesus, but I'm having such a hard time with it. My mother is also a christian, but I feel like I need more than her to help me in this situation. I just feel like my sins overcome me as a person. I seem to give into temptation way too easily. I just need some guidance...

I was telling a Messianic Jew that occasionally worships with us at our church how I thought the sabbath commandment - the 4th commandment, was actually a representation or type of the Mercy Seat. We are commonly taught in most Christian circles but especially Seventh-day Adventist teaching that the first 4 commandments of God's Moral law instruct us how to honor God, and the next 6 commandments instruct us how to honor our fellow man.

Now the Mercy Seat covers the law inside the Ark...

Wednesday, June 10, 2009, 3:36 p.m. – I lay down for a nap. I had this song going through my head, so I Googled the lyrics. I found half of what was in my head in one song and half in another, both of them sung by the group Avalon. No matter how much I tried separating the two songs in my mind, they still overlapped each other. Hello again everyone! Sorry this place just keeps slipping from my mind. I do eventually find my way back though! Soooo where have I been???

I've been loving and living life! We no longer live directly on the river but a few minutes away. We have a very nice apartment now, no spiders or ants or cold drafts to worry with. My daughter Angela, recently turned ten. Can ya believe it?!?! TEN years old! She's just little miss sweet heart as always. I can say that because I haven't seen her...
