I finished reading the Bhagavad Gita for the second time today...

I can relate to the character Arjuna way more than I can with any character in the Quran or the Bible. He articulates his fear and compassion so well.

I'm finding the dichotomy between western and eastern religions strange lately. Western religions seek to preserve individuality at all costs. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam teach that there will be individual judgment, that rewards and punishments will...

I've been reading forums on the end times and I'm beginning to think that people are way over reacting.
I love reading and studying the bible and I admit it gets tedious sometimes trying to figure out if something is symbolic or not.I wish I could find a really good book that translates the bible verse by verse.
If anyone has something like that I really would appreciate hearing about it.

The bible is NOT to be interpretted ... one truth ,clear and consistentl! OTand NT!

30 Days to Break a Habit: Day 20

Posted 23rd May 2009 at 02:56 AM by SleeveBoy06
Been a good day. No temptation, no sudden falls.

Wrote a song for my fiancé for our three-year (dating) anniversary. With nothing else in mind to post, and since it's kept me pretty occupied recording it tonight, here it is:

It's been three years
Since we started to date
And now we're engaged
How does time fly so fast?
It seems like yesterday
That I found the words to say,
"I think we could be more than friends"...
