Hurry Up And Wait

Have you noticed that what we do is "hurry up and wait"?
We race around and get everything prepared and then wait for the event to happen.

Yet, note that Jesus, with all that He accomplished, never seemed to be in a hurry. He never seemed terribly rushed.
There is a sense of calm and peacefulness in almost every biblical story.

We live in fast times and pressured times. The world wants us to plan next year's time this year. We are supposed to...

Getting much better

As I begin to do better is areas of my life. Giving my life to god and letting him sort the best course of action for me. I have begin to notice somethings... I didn't give christian music a chance but always complained about the secular music and listened to it anyway. I have find christian music in those genres as I turn positive. I was bored with the Catholic Church! All I did was daydream through Mass and my Catechism class. I could not stand it. When I was 10, my parent stopped going to church, and my father would drop off my sister and I at the church. If it was not for my sister, I would have stopped going. But I felt guilty for not going when my sister was still going.

Jesus Died For Us

He died so that we are made fresh and clean, given a new life, a new way of living, a new relationship, a new rule of God in our hearts and minds. Jesus does mind if we try to tack our Christianity on to our old ways. The new life demands an end to the old ways of behaviour, old attitudes, in fact, everything that does not fit with the command of putting God and the needs of others before ourselves.

Jesus calls for a division between faith and unfaith, good and evil, easy and hard....
