Not all Conservative Christians are fundamentalist: e.g. Traditionally- minded Catholics and Eastern Orthodox may be conservative but they do not accept Sola Scriptura. What about Confessional Lutherans, Continuing Anglicans, Nazarenes and Conservative Methodists?

I am 38 year old scholar: after years studying various Religions ( from Islam to Buddhism), I feel like coming back to Christianity but Catholicism ( my original denomination) seems having become too liberal for me. So, I have been leaning towards Eastern Orthodoxy and Confessional Lutheranism...
